I live in an upstairs apartment in New Jersey.
My air conditioner was replaced about a month ago and it is not cooling down the apartment.
I have called my landlord every day for the past three weeks and he always has an excuse as to why he can’t get someone out to look at it.
Yesterday the outside temp. was 93 and my apartment was 87; awful.
Legally I don’t know my options. I don’t want to have someone come look at the unit and get stuck paying the bill. And I don’t want to buy window units because this should be taken care of by my landlord.
Please help.
