Windows Won’t Close And It’s Hot! Need Aircon Now!?

Hello,
My windows close, but there is air that goes in and out from the bottom…meaning…the crappy builders left a crack where the window shuts.
Is there something I can buy to put under there from Lowes or…any DIY things you know of?
It’s getting hot and we need to turn on the air conditioner.

Lowes does sell something that is exactly what you need. It’s made for air conditioners to seal off the rest of the window. It’s a foam extension that has an adhesive strip to connect it to the window. There are window seals or any thing to plug the gaps.
Gaskets are also available. If you are familar, goto a hardware store or else… Supermarkets.
Temporary, a rag or a cloth, before you can attend to it permanently. Plastercine, or play-dough, do you have them. Seal off the gap.
you can put a towel there or you may purchase a thing call weather stripping. this is a rubber strip thingy that should be Able to be placed right under the window.
Foam Insulation strips - yes you can get them at Lowes.
foam insulation or a sealer if the crack is not too big. for a quick fix you can put a piece of cloth there
try mighty putty not sure if it will work but look it up its one of those as seen on tv products if not than a towel should work
put a towel there.
